Explore the genome and methylome with unprecedented depth, speed, and specificity. Browse through WBL's selection of sequencing services to find the solution that best meets your research needs.

Using long nanopore DNA sequencing reads, researchers can:

  • Resolve complex structural variants and repetitive regions
  • Simplify de novo genome assembly and improve existing reference genomes
  • Study linkage and phasing
  • Enhance metagenomic identification of closely related species and distinguish plasmid from genome
  • Sequence entire microbes in single reads—in real-time
  • Explore epigenetic modifications using direct, long-read DNA sequencing

Services

Targeted DNA Methylation Sequencing

Sequence thousands of genomic DNA (gDNA) regions specific to your research needs with our Targeted DNA Methylation Sequencing service. Combining our proprietary targeted sequencing technology with Oxford Nanopore sequencing, our service yields native DNA sequence as well as methylation and hydroxymethylation data.

Whole Genome Sequencing - Human Species

Sequence human whole genome with our Whole Genome Sequencing - Human Species Service. Using Oxford Nanopore technology, our sequencing yields native DNA sequence as well as methylation and hydroxymethylation data across the genome.

PCR cDNA Sequencing

Sequence the transcriptome with our PCR cDNA Sequencing service.

Direct RNA Sequencing

Sequence RNA with our Direct RNA Sequencing service. Using Nanopore Sequencing, our service yields native RNA sequence data while preserving base modifications.

PCR Amplicon Sequencing

Sequence PCR-amplified DNA using our PCR Amplicon Sequencing service.

Whole Genome Sequencing - Nonhuman Species

Sequence the whole genome from non-human species with our Whole Genome Sequencing - Nonhuman Species Service. Using Oxford Nanopore technology, our sequencing yields native DNA sequence as well as methylation and hydroxymethylation data. FAQ

How is pricing determined?

Price is determined by the assay selected number of samples provided at a time, referred to as “batch size.” For most assays, as batch size increases, price per sample will decrease. Please visit the individual Service page of interest to view assay specific pricing.

How do I ship my samples?

Detailed shipping instructions will be provided via email once your order has been placed:
• Samples will need to be loaded in a 96-well plate in the plate position indicated during the ordering process.
• Your plate(s) will need to be labeled with your Order ID number.
• Prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided to you to print.
• Samples will need to be shipped with 10 lbs of dry ice.

How do I track my samples?

The status of your samples can be found within your Wasatch BioLabs portal, where you will be able to view both individual and/or batch sample status. You can also opt-in to email notifications in the app to receive updates in real-time.

How long will it take to get my data after mailing my samples?

Your samples will arrive at the lab within 2 days of you sending them via USPS Priority Express Shipping. Once received, you will have access to the sample data within 5-7 days via your portal.

How will my data be delivered?

Sample data can be directly downloaded from your WBL portal in fastq format. You can also set up auto-delivery to receive your data via email once it is ready.
